Mary Therese Tebbe
MaryTherese Tebbe is the Executive Director of the 21st Century Partnership, the Middle Georgia Community Liaison Organization for Robins AFB, The Air Force and The U.S. Congress. She is responsible for executing the Partnership’s plan of work and serving as the community liaison with Robins Air Force Base, the State of Georgia, Congressional delegations, and community entities for all community matters, including quality of life, that impact Robins Air Force Base. Mary Therese joined the Partnership in March 2006.
“MT” has a background in the military both as a dependent from her father’s 32 years of service in USAF and as a former television news reporter/anchor for CBS/Gannett. MT covered the military extensively from 1999 until her retirement from broadcasting in 2006. Along with military coverage MT was and still is a volunteer host on morale boosting tours for our troops during the annual “Operation Seasons Greetings” with the Band of the Air Force Reserve”. Every year since 2000, from Iraq to Afghanistan, Japan to Germany and all points in between MT has logged more than 150,000 miles bringing a little bit of home to our troops around the world.
“Staying Prepared… Shaping the Future” is the daily mission for MT and the 21st Century Partnership where Robins AFB is concerned. From education, to energy to economic development and partnerships, the mission is always to do what is best as a community for Robins and the United States Air Force!
A graduate of Wesleyan College with a degree in Communication and a Masters Candidate in International Relations from Troy State University, MT lives in Warner Robins wither husband Jim.
She was named who’s who in Broadcasting by Georgia Trend Magazine, TV Personality of the Year in 2005 from the Georgia Association of Broadcasters and was named as a 2008 “Georgia Woman of Distinction” by Girl Scouts.
She is Lt Governor Casey Cagle’s appointee to serve on the Middle Georgia Regional Commission from 2009-2011 as well as the Chair of Air Force Materiel Commands Community Liaison Program from 2010-2012.
MT is a former Miss Macon, Miss Warner Robins and Miss Houston County Fair.
